What you'll do

• Check guests in and out
• issue room keys and provide hotel information
• verify identification at check-in
• answer phones and process guest calls, messages, requests, and concerns
• record guest preferences
• upsell rooms where possible
• resolve late or disputed charges
• process cash and credit card transactions
• manage guest safe-deposit boxes
• communicate outstanding requests to management
• address complaints using service recovery guidelines
• follow safety procedures
• may book reservations and process cancellations or changes
• coordinate with other departments.
