Bucket Foreperson – Tree Trimming and Vegetation Management

Job overview

The Bucket Foreperson role is onsite in Hagerstown, MD; pay is $26.50 per hour. Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services provide vegetation management services, including work supporting electric utilities. The foreperson coordinates crew members, equipment, tools, and supplies to complete work to contract specifications. The role directs daily assignments, enforces safe practices, performs tree trimming and removal work, and checks completed work and job records.

What you'll do

• Direct crew members and manage equipment
• assign tasks and supervise performance
• plan and organize work safely and efficiently
• coordinate with property owners about access and work
• enforce PPE and safe practices
• trim or remove trees using climbing equipment, lifts, or ground tools
• apply stump and brush treatments
• load debris and operate brush chippers
• direct cleanup and secure equipment
• inspect completed work
• maintain time, equipment, and material records
• complete truck inspections and job briefings
• restock supplies and report equipment issues
• respond to emergencies and perform storm work as needed.
