Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist role is fully onsite in Lakewood, WA, Monday through Friday. The stated pay range is $32–$42 per hour. The position reports to the Director of Human Resources and supports the company’s manufacturing workforce. The generalist helps establish HR infrastructure and manage day-to-day people operations following an asset purchase. Building reliable records, workflows, and employee programs supports compliant hiring, payroll, employee relations, training, safety, and organizational development as the HR function takes shape.

What you'll do

• Help build HR files, workflows, forms, and procedures
• support Paylocity configuration and employee data
• draft and roll out policies and handbook updates
• maintain records and provide payroll backup
• support recruiting, background checks, onboarding, and orientation
• respond to employee questions and assist with investigations and performance processes
• coordinate training
• support safety, workers’ compensation, leave, benefits, and compliance reporting.
