The Corporate & Finance Mergers & Acquisitions Associate Attorney role is based in Baltimore, MD; compensation is $260,000–$365,000 per year. The attorney will join a nationally recognized law firm’s Corporate & Finance practice. The associate advises on domestic and cross-border transactions, drafts and negotiates transaction documents, and manages due diligence and workstreams. Collaboration with clients and legal teams, along with mentoring junior associates, supports successful execution of complex corporate matters.

What you'll do

• Advise clients on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions
• structure, negotiate, and document transactions, strategic alliances, and joint ventures
• draft purchase agreements and related documents
• conduct due diligence and manage workstreams
• advise on corporate governance
• collaborate with client management and legal teams
• mentor junior associates
• assist with securities issuances and private equity financing as applicable.
