The School Age Teacher role is onsite in Norwalk, IA, at $15.40–$18.00 per hour. The position supports Cadence Education’s work to shape bright futures for children and families. The teacher supports daily classroom operations and program delivery by helping create a safe, nurturing, engaging environment that meets children’s physical, social, emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs. The role also supports classroom routines, curriculum, family relationships, and safety and licensing compliance.

What you'll do

• Support an inclusive classroom
• welcome children and families
• respond to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavioral plans as directed
• assist with curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs
• communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership
• follow safety and supervision procedures
• document and report incidents
• support behavior management
• attend required meetings, training, and professional development.
