Manufacturing Machine Operator — First Shift

The Manufacturing Machine Operator role is onsite in Rome, NY, on first shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pay is $28–$30 per hour, with overtime at 1.5 times the regular rate after 40 hours. International Wire Group manufactures copper and copper-alloy wire products used across industries including automotive, energy, construction, and machinery. The operator helps produce quality copper wire products and supports safe, efficient manufacturing. The role operates and adjusts production equipment, checks product quality, records production data, and contributes to improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.

What you'll do

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently to meet production goals
• set up, monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery
• inspect products against quality standards and specifications
• record production and quality data using computerized systems
• communicate with supervisors and team members
• identify improvement opportunities
• handle raw materials and finished products safely
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• follow safety policies and quality standards.
