Transmission Analyst

The analyst supports commercial optimization of the generation and energy portfolio through transmission analysis, congestion forecasting, market intelligence, and strategy development. The work informs asset valuation, market opportunity and risk assessment, and commercial decision-making.

What you'll do

• Analyze transmission conditions, congestion, and market fundamentals
• forecast congestion, locational marginal prices, and basis differentials
• monitor outages, upgrades, interconnection activity, and expansion projects
• support short-, seasonal-, and long-term forecasting
• prepare management recommendations
• develop and maintain production-cost, power-flow, and market-simulation models
• review interconnection requests and regional planning
• monitor ISO/RTO and regulatory developments.

Why this role
