The Hotel Maintenance Technician role is onsite at the Holiday Inn Express – Wilmington Medical District in Wilmington, NC. Pay is $17–$20 per hour. The position maintains hotel facilities and equipment to support a safe and comfortable environment for guests. The technician performs inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The role also supports facility upkeep through supply tracking, maintenance records, and coordination with hotel departments.

What you'll do

• Inspect hotel facilities and identify maintenance needs
• perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other equipment
• respond to repair requests and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues
• install or replace fixtures and equipment
• follow safety procedures, building codes, and hotel policies
• monitor maintenance supplies and tools and assist with ordering
• document maintenance work and report status and needs
• coordinate with housekeeping and front desk.
