Line Service Technician — Aviation Ground Support

The Line Service Technician — Aviation Ground Support role is onsite at SIT in Sitka, AK, with pay of $21.50 per hour. The schedule requires availability for any or all shifts, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call duty. Atlantic Aviation provides ground support services to aviation customers and their aircraft. The technician performs aircraft ground-handling tasks and customer service to support safe, efficient aircraft operations. Fueling, baggage and cargo handling, aircraft movement, and facility and equipment checks contribute to the needs of customers and aircraft at the location.

What you'll do

• Deliver and receive fuel to and from company tanks, vendor trucks, and aircraft
• operate ground support equipment, including lavatory and water service carts, ground power units, and deice trucks
• marshal aircraft using standard aviation signals
• assist customers with aircraft scheduling and fueling
• assist with aircraft turns, loading, and unloading
• keep buildings and grounds safe, clean, and organized
• conduct or assist with safety inspections and audits of equipment and facility operations.

Why this role
