What you'll do

• Perform non-invasive vascular and/or echocardiography testing
• follow protocols and produce quality images and data
• obtain patient history and ensure exam documentation
• determine whether an order revision is appropriate and notify the relevant person
• explain procedures to patients, families, and hospital staff
• schedule add-on and emergency exams
• coordinate patient preparation and transport
• maintain clean work areas and supplies
• communicate equipment maintenance needs
• follow quality-control standards and participate in process improvement and peer review
• maintain continuing education and required safety training.
