The Co-Packaged Optics Business Unit Leader role is onsite in Naperville, IL, with compensation of $150,000–$250,000 per year plus annual bonus. The role reports to the CTO and supports viaPhoton’s effort to build custom-engineered fiber optic solutions for AI infrastructure, data centers, and 5G networks.

What you'll do

• Build and grow the CPO business, owning strategy, technology roadmap, staffing, and P&L
• define target markets, product portfolio, and positioning
• build a photonics team
• guide development of co-packaged optics, silicon photonics, laser integration, fiber-to-chip interconnect, and high-volume manufacturing
• form strategic partnerships with foundries, suppliers, and research institutions.
