Dietary Aide

What you'll do

• Assist with food functions under established procedures
• prepare items for medication passes
• set up meal trays according to diet specifications
• serve and deliver meals and retrieve trays
• wash and store dishes
• clean and sanitize work areas
• respond to resident and nursing staff requests
• assist the cook and prepare special meals
• maintain food supplies and storage
• report hazards and incidents
• follow resident-rights and infection-control procedures.
