Family Support Coordinator

Job overview

The Family Support Coordinator role is based onsite in Phoenix, AZ, with work involving families and youth in natural settings across Maricopa County. Compensation is $21–$23.10 per hour. Devereux Arizona Community Based Services provides intensive in-home support following crises. The coordinator helps children and families build resilience and practical skills through one-to-one support, coaching, and coordination with community resources. The role contributes to crisis recovery by teaching emotional regulation, coping, behavior, and communication skills while maintaining case documentation and working with the Child/Family Team.

What you'll do

• Work one-to-one with youth ages 2–17 in homes, schools, group homes, foster care, or kinship placements
• teach life and emotional regulation skills, behavior reduction, anger management, trauma coping, and communication
• participate in intakes, case management, chart maintenance, and documentation
• coordinate with the Child/Family Team and community supports.

Why this role

Schedules may be Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday, with afternoons or evenings as late as 8:30 p.m.; travel throughout Maricopa County using a personal vehicle is required, with mileage reimbursement.
