Packaging Line Lead — 1st Shift

The Packaging Line Lead — 1st Shift role is onsite in North Brunswick, NJ, and pays $20–$21 per hour. The role supports USPL Nutritionals’ Packaging department and its production operations. This working lead coordinates packaging operators, equipment, and processes to meet packaging goals while following quality, safety, and current good manufacturing practice requirements. The lead supports a line station, maintains production flow, and helps ensure employees are trained and products meet specifications.

What you'll do

• Coordinate schedules, job assignments, and packaging sequences with the supervisor and other leads
• manage packaging operators’ work assignments and break rotations
• communicate production information during shift handoffs
• inspect raw materials and finished goods
• monitor processes and resolve errors or malfunctions to prevent waste
• replenish supplies
• follow safety, hygiene, batch record, SOP, and cGMP requirements
• provide direction and training to associates
• work extended hours and occasional weekend overtime.
