Weekend Life Skills Coach

The Weekend Life Skills Coach role is onsite in Union Grove, WI, in a college residential setting after classes and on weekends. Compensation is not specified. Shepherds College is a three-year program helping young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities develop job skills and greater independence. The coach supports students in building practical skills and independence while contributing to a positive residential college experience. Through instruction, relationship-building, documentation, and activities, the role helps students practice daily living and social skills.

What you'll do

• Support students with intellectual and developmental disabilities in an 8:1 student-to-staff setting. Train students in cooking, cleaning, safety, time management, and social behavior
• build positive working relationships
• complete communication and documentation
• and take students on off-campus activities. Schedule options are Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–2:00 PM or 2:00 PM–9:00 PM, with an option to work 1–3 consistent shifts.
