Activity Aide

The Activity Aide position is onsite in Plainfield, IL. Pay is $16 per hour. Lakewood Nursing and Rehab seeks an aide to enrich residents’ daily lives through meaningful social and recreational engagement. The aide facilitates group and individual activities based on residents’ needs, interests, abilities, assessments, and care plans. The role also supports activity planning, documentation, and resident participation in the Resident Council.

What you'll do

• Facilitate group and individual activity programs based on residents’ needs, interests, and abilities
• complete required records for resident admission, discharge, and transfer
• chart according to facility policy
• help create the activity calendar and coordinate events
• follow facility policies and procedures
• encourage Resident Council participation and schedule monthly meetings.
