Utility Driver

Job overview

The Utility Driver role is onsite in San Pablo, CA, with a Monday–Thursday schedule starting at 4:00 a.m. for 10-hour days and one overnight route once or twice a month; other days are home daily. Pay is $33–$34.50 per hour. The role supports Mahoney Environmental’s collection and recycling of used cooking oil and restaurant waste materials. The driver services containers and grease traps, transports collected materials on local routes, and maintains safe, reliable service for customers. Vehicle inspections, maintenance, and careful adherence to procedures support the company’s recycling operations.

Why this role

Requires a valid CDL Class B (preferred) or Class A, a tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain one before starting, three years of CDL experience within the last 10 years, and a valid DOT medical card. Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds.
