Marine Construction Carpenter

Job overview

The Marine Construction Carpenter role is onsite in Jacksonville, FL; compensation is $23–$26 per hour. The carpenter builds and repairs waterfront structures, often working from barges or piers. RUSH Marine specializes in docks, seawalls, pilings, boat lifts, bulkheads, and other waterfront structures, with a stated focus on craftsmanship and safety.

What you'll do

• Construct, install, and repair docks, seawalls, boardwalks, bulkheads, and marine framing
• interpret blueprints and project plans
• operate power tools and heavy equipment
• measure, cut, and shape materials
• work with treated lumber, composite decking, concrete forms, and marine hardware
• perform work from barges, boats, scaffolding, or in the water as needed
• follow safety regulations and assist with general labor.

Why this role
