What you'll do

• Prepare breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, pies, cakes, and other pastries according to recipes
• review production schedules and gather supplies
• shape, portion, proof, and bake dough
• inspect finished products and adjust processes as needed
• clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
• identify spoiled food or defective supplies
• complete production records
• may prepare baked goods for special diets.
