Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) role is onsite in Scottsburg, IN. Compensation is $18–$22 per hour. Rural Rescue EMS provides interfacility transport service and responds to emergent and non-emergent calls. What you'll do

• Respond to emergency calls in a timely manner
• assess illness or injury and prioritize treatment
• administer first aid and treatment
• collect patient information and communicate it to hospitals or treatment facilities
• coordinate with hospitals and other EMTs
• maintain and replenish medical supplies on the response vehicle
• attend training to maintain certification and current medical knowledge.
