What you'll do

• Use the nursing process to support appropriate nursing care
• adjust staffing and arrange coverage in collaboration with the Nurse Manager
• perform staff nurse duties when needed
• monitor nursing care through chart audits and documentation review
• supervise staff nurses and behavioral care specialists
• participate in therapeutic program development, orientation, in-service education, and staff evaluations
• oversee admissions during the shift
• direct emergency response activities
• maintain BLS/CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certifications.
