Through assessment-informed teaching and collaboration with school colleagues, the teacher works to accelerate achievement, address learning gaps, and appropriately challenge and support students.

• Implement Illustrative Mathematics and Louisiana Student Standards
• facilitate mathematical discussion and problem-based learning
• differentiate instruction
• analyze assessment data and adjust teaching
• develop targeted interventions
• prepare students for Louisiana LEAP assessments
• maintain an inclusive, structured classroom
• collaborate with colleagues and families
• maintain student records and participate in professional learning.

Why this role
