Auto Collision Prepper

The Auto Collision Prepper is an onsite position located in Orange Park, FL. The role offers an hourly flat rate of $15.00 to $20.00 and supports the paint department at The Boyd Group. This role exists to prepare vehicles for refinishing to restore them to pre-accident condition. The prepper is responsible for thorough surface preparation, masking, priming, and applying various coatings to ensure high-quality paint results in accordance with insurance standards.

What you'll do

• Perform surface preparation, vehicle masking, priming, and top coating.
• Apply primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats, and clear coats.
• Restore anti-corrosion treatments.
• Identify substrates and mix products.
• Evaluate bodywork to ensure a quality paint job.
