Elementary Teacher Assistant

The Elementary Teacher Assistant role is onsite in East Walpole, MA, supporting elementary-aged children with moderate and severe disabilities. Pay is $22.50 to $26.40 per hour, depending on experience and education. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. League School for Autism provides educational programming for autistic students. The assistant implements lessons and student plans, supports behavior and daily living skills, records student progress, and helps maintain health and safety. The role contributes to structured learning and student development in classroom, school, and community settings.

What you'll do

• Implement lessons and tasks according to IEPs
• support curriculum and behavior strategies
• collect and record student data
• follow classroom schedules and behavior programs
• complete daily paperwork
• monitor student health and safety
• attend meetings and training
• transport students in school vans as needed.
