The Habilitation Specialist — Children and Adolescents role is onsite in Tulsa, OK. Starting pay is $19.67 per hour, increasing to $21.03 after six months; a $1.00-per-hour differential applies to hours worked between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Hands of Heartland’s Laura Dester Children’s Center supports children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and behavioral support needs. The role provides direct care and habilitation support, helping individuals build independence and achieve personal goals. The specialist follows individualized care and behavior plans, supports daily routines, and contributes to a safe, clean environment.

What you'll do

• Provide direct care to children and adolescents
• assist with activities of daily living
• implement individualized care plans and protocols
• teach life and social skills and daily routines
• implement behavior plans, de-escalation, data collection, and emotional-regulation support
• assist with medication administration and documentation as required
• and maintain a safe, clean environment.
