The Food Transporter/Delivery Driver role is onsite at Lakeland Joint School District in Rathdrum, ID. The schedule is full- and part-time, with days varying and stated hours of 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Pay is $18 per hour. Chartwells K12 provides dining programs for schools, with a stated goal of serving food students enjoy and supporting their health. The driver delivers food, supplies, and other products to service locations. The role supports school food-service operations by checking orders, handling deliveries safely, maintaining food sanitation and temperature standards, and keeping the assigned vehicle clean and operational.

What you'll do

• Pick up requisitioned supplies and completed production orders
• inventory orders for completeness
• load and unload deliveries
• follow food sanitation and safety guidelines
• maintain hot and cold food within company standards
• collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise
• clean and perform routine maintenance on the assigned truck
• provide customer service.

Why this role

Prior delivery driving experience operating a box truck is preferred. A valid state driver's license and a valid food handler's permit where required are required.
