System Safety Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and implement MIL-STD-882E-compliant system safety programs
• perform system safety planning, hazard analyses, and design analyses
• brief safety considerations at technical reviews and during safety approval
• interpret system requirements, customer specifications, and military standards
• prepare internal and customer reports
• collaborate across disciplines to understand product architecture and design
• coordinate with systems, software or firmware, electrical, and hardware engineering
• manage system safety working groups with client and customer representatives.
