Salesforce Solution Architect

Job overview

The Salesforce Solution Architect role is remote, with candidates required to reside in the Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia metropolitan area for occasional onsite meetings. Compensation is $130,000–$150,000 per year. The role supports large-scale federal digital transformation initiatives. The architect translates customer business objectives into scalable Salesforce designs and guides delivery from discovery through implementation and production deployment. By coordinating with business stakeholders, analysts, product owners, architects, and developers, the role helps ensure solutions meet customer needs and align with enterprise architecture, security, accessibility, and governance requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead Salesforce solution architecture from business discovery through production deployment
• translate requirements into end-to-end designs
• refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs
• decompose capabilities into epics, features, and stories
• design processes using Public Sector Solutions, OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, Flows, Apex, and Lightning Web Components
• define application, security, and data models
• collaborate with integration, data, and technical architects
• document designs
• participate in Agile planning and reviews
• guide development and solution validation.
