Controls Technician

Job overview

The Controls Technician role is onsite in Piney Flats, TN, with pay of $28–$32 per hour. The role assists the Senior Controls Engineer with controls projects, equipment installations, system upgrades, and process improvements. Troubleshooting, PLC and Siemens systems, cabinet wiring, startup and commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repair documentation help improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues
• support PLC and Siemens control systems
• read electrical schematics and prints
• build and wire electrical control cabinets
• assist with equipment startup, testing, and commissioning
• perform preventive maintenance
• document changes and repairs
• provide hands-on technical support for controls projects.
