Restaurant Assistant Manager

The Restaurant Assistant Manager role is onsite in Tinton Falls, NJ. Compensation is up to $50,000 per year plus a bonus opportunity. The role supports a busy restaurant operation and works alongside the General Manager. The assistant manager leads assigned shifts, coaches team members, supports staffing and scheduling, maintains food and service standards, and monitors costs and productivity. The role helps improve guest experience and restaurant performance while developing team members and supporting daily operations.

What you'll do

• Lead the team during assigned shifts
• resolve guest concerns
• coach and train team members
• support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and development
• maintain food quality, speed, cleanliness, and service standards
• manage opening, closing, cash handling, and shift procedures
• monitor labor, food cost, inventory, waste, and productivity
• partner with the General Manager on sales and performance.
