Extended Day Support Staff

What you'll do

• Actively supervise children and maintain a safe, respectful environment
• support social-emotional development, daily care routines, transitions, attendance, authorized pickup, and emergency procedures. Facilitate age-appropriate activities and adapt them for different developmental stages. Prepare and maintain activity spaces, sanitize materials, assist with snacks, monitor outdoor areas, and complete closing tasks. Collaborate with colleagues, teachers, and administrators
• communicate with families and staff

• and attend required meetings and training.

Why this role

School-year schedule is Monday–Friday, approximately 2:00 PM–6:00 PM. Additional hours may be available for summer programs, teacher in-service days, and school breaks. High school diploma or equivalent required; must be at least 21 years old; CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it upon hire.
