Maintenance Supervisor

Job overview

Compensation is $27–$29 per hour. The Maintenance Supervisor works onsite in Raleigh, NC. Monroe Group manages affordable housing communities and works to provide safe, decent, and sanitary housing for residents. The supervisor oversees day-to-day property maintenance and supports a capable, positive maintenance team. The role coordinates repairs, inspections, inventory, and vendors to keep the property and units maintained and responsive to residents' needs.

What you'll do

• Direct and supervise the maintenance team, including performance, duties, and scheduling
• provide customer service to residents
• troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, carpentry, and sheetrock issues
• monitor and replenish maintenance inventory within budget
• conduct property and unit inspections and document updates and improvement areas
• coordinate outsourced work with vendors
• ensure maintenance teams deliver safe, decent, and sanitary housing.

Why this role

The schedule is Monday–Friday, with availability required for after-hours calls, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years as a Lead Maintenance Technician, working knowledge of Onsite or Yardi software, English proficiency, reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license and vehicle. Affordable-housing experience and UPCS/REAC inspection experience are preferred.
