What you'll do

• Verify work pieces using gauges, micrometers, and dial indicators
• document hourly inspections
• preset and change cutting tools
• adjust machine controls and tool settings
• set up fixtures and feeding devices
• follow blueprints and work orders
• monitor machine performance and lubricants
• troubleshoot machine and tooling problems
• maintain equipment
• follow plant safety and 5S practices
• mentor and motivate the team in safety, quality, and productivity.
