What you'll do

• Assist the Unit Operator with equipment startup, operation, and shutdown
• monitor coal handling and soot blower operation
• inspect boiler and related equipment
• report malfunctions and equipment status
• submit maintenance requests
• inspect furnace conditions and operate ash handling systems
• check precipitators
• assist with coal train unloading as required
• maintain clean and safe work areas
• complete reports and logs
• perform Unit Auxiliary Operator duties as required.
