The Electrical Engineer role is onsite at a customer’s engineering and manufacturing facility in Chillicothe, IL. Pay is $70,000–$105,000 per year. The engineer joins RFA Engineering’s team supporting customer product development for engines, powertrain systems, and off-highway equipment. The role supports the design, integration, validation, and improvement of electrical systems. It contributes to robust product performance by creating engineering documentation, troubleshooting issues, supporting testing, and coordinating with manufacturing, quality, validation, and suppliers.

What you'll do

• Support electrical-system design, development, and integration
• create and revise schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation
• support bench, machine, and field testing
• troubleshoot prototype, pilot, and production issues
• support machine integration and CAN communications
• investigate failures and root causes
• assist with design changes and product improvements
• support factory operations
• and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
