The role supports accurate reporting, sound controls, timely close, and financial insight for leadership as the operation grows and may expand across locations.

What you'll do

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and manage and develop the Bookkeeper
• oversee contract billing, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
• review transactions and investigate discrepancies
• lead monthly close
• review P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
• prepare or review financial statements and management reports under GAAP
• handle year-end adjustments and technical accounting
• support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, audits, and internal controls
• coordinate with corporate and internal resources
• improve accounting processes and systems.
