Packaging Designer

Collaboration with sales, production, customers, and end users helps ensure designs meet functional, material, and industry requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead development of custom returnable material-handling systems using SolidWorks for 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings
• create new products and modify existing designs
• evaluate textiles, foams, plastics, and hardware
• translate customer requirements into manufacturable designs
• build and test prototypes
• resolve design challenges
• guide junior designers and technicians
• coordinate with production, sales, and end users
• maintain SolidWorks PDM files
• use the company ERP system
• identify design risks and reduce production waste.
