This is an onsite, full-time position with a rate of $25+ per hour, working 50-55 hours per week. The company provides waste management services. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment, ensuring the fleet's operational readiness and safety.

What you'll do

• Initiate or assign repairs by interpreting vehicle computer electronic systems.
• Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
