Utilities Technician – Third Shift

The Utilities Technician – Third Shift role is onsite in Delphi, IN. Pay is $31.22–$42.00 per hour, with compensation varying by prior experience. The technician supports Indiana Packers Corporation’s food processing production facilities. The role maintains and operates utility systems, including refrigeration, boilers, and water supply, to keep production running reliably. Through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety compliance, the technician helps ensure continuity of plant operations.

What you'll do

• Maintain, diagnose, repair, rebuild, adjust, and perform preventive maintenance on utility systems
• operate ammonia refrigeration equipment using SOPs
• make rounds and maintain operating logs
• troubleshoot facility equipment
• follow PPE, Lock-out/Tag-out, and Process Safety Management requirements
• respond to utility system emergencies
• coordinate with other departments and agencies
• provide safety and maintenance guidance.
