Job overview

The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Tualatin, OR, and pays $25–$35 per hour. The position supports providers at Skin Cancer Surgery Center, a Mohs micrographic surgery practice. What you'll do

• Greet and escort patients
• obtain histories, assess and triage patients, measure vital signs, and record chart information
• explain procedures and prepare patients and exam rooms
• position, clean, and sterilize instruments
• maintain safety and disposal practices
• stock exam rooms
• assist with procedures and wound care as directed
• calculate medication dosages
• remove sutures and change dressings
• complete medical charts
• make patient callbacks, arrange referrals and testing, schedule follow-ups, monitor supplies, perform equipment quality checks, and assist registration staff.
