What you'll do

• See patients and provide veterinary care
• oversee medical standards and quality of care
• develop medical policies
• support coordination across services
• communicate with clients and doctors and ensure appropriate transfer of patient care
• review patient records
• manage controlled drugs appropriately
• address patient-care problems and complaints
• support compliance with applicable veterinary practice, OSHA, and AAHA standards
• mentor staff veterinarians
• monitor performance and production
• identify service opportunities
• and work with the Hospital Manager on practice performance and operations.
