The Team Leader, Paper Mill Operations role is onsite in Alsip, IL, with an annual salary range of $84,000–$141,000. Alsip MiniMill produces 100% recycled corrugating medium and uses more than 250,000 tons of old corrugated containers and clippings annually. The role leads a production shift team in meeting safety, quality, cost, and production standards. It supports consistent processes across shifts, develops team skills, and coordinates troubleshooting and process improvement to meet production targets.

What you'll do

• Lead the production shift team
• ensure safety-policy compliance and housekeeping standards
• report and investigate incidents and participate in corrective-action work
• support safety audits and committees
• provide performance feedback and coordinate training
• communicate company information and lead team meetings
• apply mill policies and the collective bargaining agreement
• review timesheets and handle time-off requests
• ensure standard operating procedure compliance
• support trials and work with suppliers as needed
• lead troubleshooting, process analysis, and optimization to meet production targets.

Why this role
