The Progress Success Intervention Specialist is a hybrid, 10-month position in Philadelphia, PA, with work from home two to five times per week based on program needs and onsite work at The Ferguson School Building. Compensation is $19.40 per hour. The role supports Philadelphia Virtual Academy students and teacher referrals through CCRES. The specialist tracks absenteeism and student progress, contacts families, and transitions into direct student and family interventions. The work supports student engagement, assignment completion, and individualized growth planning in the virtual learning program.

What you'll do

• Collect and track absenteeism and baseline data
• maintain student tracking records and data integrity
• monitor student progress across academic hours
• track assignment completion and award Class Dojo points according to stated criteria
• contact families when students are absent from the online intervention space by noon
• document outreach
• launch direct student interventions and family outreach beginning in October
• collaborate on student growth plans
• provide digital and technical support to teachers
• facilitate the virtual space’s interactive slide deck.

Why this role

The position follows the PVA academic calendar, with an 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule. Paid clearances and TB screening are offered; Philadelphia residency is preferred.
