What you'll do

• Conduct intakes, evaluations, and assessments
• recommend appropriate levels of care and special housing or observation based on clinical findings
• refer eligible individuals for county mental health or emergency evaluation
• provide individual or group therapy and transitional services when appropriate
• assess suicide risk and provide intervention
• conduct daily rounds and sick call
• coordinate medication-related evaluations with medical providers and psychiatrists
• initiate involuntary hospitalization when applicable and complete related paperwork.
