The Resident Care Assistant (RCA) role is onsite in New Lebanon, NY. Compensation starts at $16 per hour. Fairview Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center provides short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care in the Berkshires. The RCA assists residents with personal care, meals, mobility, safety, and daily routines, while supporting communication and social interaction. The role helps maintain residents’ comfort and well-being and supports the care team with resident needs and unit tasks.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with dressing, hygiene, bathing, and other personal care
• support transfers and meals as described
• answer call bells
• transport residents to dining and activities
• provide one-to-one supportive interaction and supervision as needed
• check fall precautions
• report resident intake to Team Leaders
• assist with admissions, appointments, and unit tasks.
