What you'll do

• Monitor and correlate events across SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence platforms
• investigate phishing, malware, unauthorized access, and policy violations
• analyze attack patterns, root causes, and impact
• escalate critical incidents to Tier 3
• conduct threat hunting using IOCs and MITRE ATT&CK
• maintain dashboards, reports, timelines, and post-incident documentation
• tune SIEM rules and thresholds
• develop SOC playbooks and response procedures
• collaborate with security engineering
• coordinate containment, remediation, and recovery with internal teams and state agencies.
