What you'll do

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers
• develop supplier relationships
• negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, lead times, and delivery schedules
• prepare purchase orders and monitor fulfillment
• monitor inventory, purchasing needs, market conditions, supplier availability, and supply-chain risks
• resolve supplier issues and identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.
