Job overview

The Certified Medical Assistant role is onsite in Virginia Beach, VA, with occasional rotation to the employer’s Chesapeake location. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a noon–1:00 p.m. lunch. Pay is $22.50 per hour. Gameday Men’s Health Virginia Beach aims to help men improve their quality of life through a patient-focused clinic experience. The assistant supports a smooth patient experience through intake, vital signs, phlebotomy, specimen handling, injections, and provider assistance. The role also maintains accurate records, follows HIPAA protocols, and supports scheduling and patient communications.

What you'll do

• Welcome patients
• conduct intake
• prepare and maintain exam rooms
• take and record vitals in the EMR
• perform phlebotomy
• run basic in-house lab tests and prepare specimens
• administer injections
• assist providers with care and Acoustic Pressurewave ED treatments
• enter lab results
• follow HIPAA protocols
• support scheduling and patient communications.
