Cyber Security Engineer

The Cyber Security Engineer role is onsite in Bethesda, MD. Compensation is $175,000–$275,000 per year. Red Key Solutions provides staffing for federal programs and supports customers in the intelligence community. The engineer protects customer information systems and networks by implementing, managing, monitoring, and improving security measures. The role works with team leads, developers, and operations personnel across the DevSecOps lifecycle, including security policy, technical implementation, event response, and remediation.

What you'll do

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures and tools
• automate repeatable tasks
• configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security platforms including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, endpoint security, cryptography, SIEM, and MDM
• respond to security events and assist with remediation
• participate in change management
• coordinate and monitor log analysis for managed services.
