Food Service Worker

Job overview

The Food Service Worker role is onsite in Winston-Salem, NC, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; further details are provided upon interview. Compensation is $17–$20 per hour. The position supports Canteen’s food and workplace service offerings at the RAI Reynolds location. The worker prepares, presents, and serves food while maintaining food safety, sanitation, and service standards. The role also supports customers, inventory and cash-control procedures, and the cleanliness and readiness of food-service work areas.

What you'll do

• Prepare, present, and serve food
• wash, peel, cut, and measure ingredients
• transport and store food safely
• clean work areas, equipment, and utensils
• distribute supplies
• follow recipes and portion standards
• serve customers and relay concerns to a supervisor
• follow inventory, cash-control, sanitation, and safety procedures.
